My mom has been teaching me about poetry. We have learned about onomatopoeia, rhyme pattern, and personification so far. I decided to write a poem about my favorite subject: horses. I hope that you enjoy the poem. It was fun to write.
The Drumming of Hooves
The horse is running in the wind.
It sounded like drums
Singing throughout the day,
“Clop! Prr-um!, Clop! Prr-um!”
